Yacht Buoy Mapping ProgramClient: National Capital Authority, Canberra, ACT GIS-based solutions provide better tools for asset management. The contract involved field capture of Buoy locations on Lake Burley Griffin for future reference of the ACT Government. GPS capture used PDA technology. |
Upper Murray Blackberry OfficerClient: North East Blackberry Action Group, Corryong, VIC Involves community facilitation and liaison to control the spread of Blackberry in the Upper Murray. Community meetings and on-site GIS survey. |

Problem Willow Mapping ProgramClient: Greening Australia, Canberra, ACT The contract involved field capture of Problem Willow locations. GPS capture used PDA technology. Attributes also assessed were Depth to Bank, Sex, Reproductive mechanisms and Threats. |
Biodiversity Benefits Project, Phase 3Client: CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems, Canberra, ACT Field data collection for three of six national case study sites. Attributes relating to the health and structure of native vegetation and Landcare revegetation works. GIS mapping and map development for a range of audiences. |
Extending Bio-Metric in Southern NSWClient: CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems, Canberra, ACT The project funded by the NSW Environmental Trust was designed to develop modelling methods for mapping native vegetation condition. The contract involved using Bio-Metric field methodology to assess 250 remnant vegetation sites in the South West Slopes of NSW. |
GIS ManagerClient: Nature Conservation Trust of NSW, Lismore, NSW A two day-a-week position until 2010. I am responsible for management of the Trusts GIS data management, OHS&E Policy and Filed data capture methodologies and training. Map production for the CEO is also a priority task. |
Assessment of the Molonglo River Corridor BoundaryClient: National Capital Authority, Canberra, ACT The project was to assess the environmental, social and cultural values of the Molonglo River with aim to propose a River Corridor boundary that upholds the values of the National Capital Plan. Field work, Liaison and GIS Mapping was integral. |
National Landcare Program Project ManagerClient: Upper Murray Landcare Network, Corryong, VIC Involves the on-ground assessment and extension of Soil Health, Riparian and Gully stabilisation projects in the Upper Murray. Community meetings and field days are also integral. |
